Light My Fire

Spend First Friday making a candle and match striker, listening to groovy tunes and having complimentary beverages with the Center for Craft! You will learn how to use air dry clay to create a match striker and holder, and bend your own freeform taper candle!

Date Night

Date Night is a monthly, hands-on craft series at the Center for Craft. Every First Friday night enjoy making a different craft project with a friend or meet someone new!

Gallery Hours: Closed — Reopening Fall 2019

The Center for Craft is providing emergency relief in response to Hurricane Helene, directing critical resources to the artists of Western North Carolina. Donate now to join us in this effort. The first round of relief funding for $500 grants to artists is now closed. Please check back for details on the second round of recovery funding that will launch soon.

The Center for Craft galleries are now open on a modified schedule Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. Cowork at Center for Craft is open regular hours for registered Coworkers and 10 am - 4 pm for guests or day passes, offering reliable wifi, access to coffee, and community—free to makers in the region who were impacted. Email cowork@centerforcraft.org to learn more.
