Are you a scholar, artist, or researcher interested in applying for the 2025 Craft Archive Fellowship? Register for the application information session on Monday, April 7, 5:00 to 6:00 pm ET.
The information session will provide an overview of the fellowship opportunity and offer tips to simplify the application process for completing applications successfully. Followed by an audience Q&A.
Can’t make it? No problem. The information session will be recorded. The recording will be available on the Craft Archive Fellowship webpage.
The 2025 Craft Archive Fellowship will foster archival research on underrepresented and non-dominant craft histories in the United States, such as feminist, intersectional, queer, Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian American and Pacific Islander, and other communities and approaches that may not be specifically listed here. Six Center for Craft Archive Fellows will receive a $5,000 stipend to conduct research in an archive of their choosing. The Fellows are invited to engage in conventional and innovative approaches to archival research, which will be published in an article on Hyperallergic and a public program presented by the Center for Craft in September 2026.
The Ayumi Horie Award, the Sara Clugage Award, and the Gallaher Family Award partly support the Center for Craft Archive Fellowship. Additional awards may be named by contacting give@centerforcraft.org.
