Center for Craft is pleased to partner with Show & Tell Pop Up to bring a new quarterly series to downtown Asheville, Crafternoons! Visit the Center for Craft, August 1-5, to enjoy a week- long, themed pop up curated by Show & Tell and register for a themed Crafternoon Workshop on August 5, with Show & Tell Pop Up and Cowork at Center for Craft.
First up, all things kitty cat!
Shop all things cat inspired in this a-meow-zing collection of handmade and local items. The pop up shop will feature cat inspired (wild + domestic): ceramics, jewelry, embroidery patterns, textiles, figurines, and of course items for our feline friends! Open Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 6pm. A portion of pop up sales will go to the Asheville Mountain Pet Rescue.
On Saturday, August 5, join us for a purrrfect Caturday Crafternoon and take home your very own cat rice heat pad. In this quick and fun crafternoon, all the tools, materials and instruction will be provided so you will take home your very own cat heat pad. Templates from Ello Lovey will be available to use or draw inspiration from.
There are two start times, 12pm and 2pm. Crafternoon is designed to be quick and fun. You can drop-in, but we highly encourage you to purchase your ticket to reserve your spot and to come at the start time to ensure you have the full time to create and finish your project. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. Roll Up Herbal Bar will be onsite offering a cat approved drink menu during the event.
We can’t wait to see the finished clowder of cats created! Registration is $30, accessible to ages 12 and up.
We will also be hosting a Feed the Kitties Drive, where folks can drop by during the open hours of the pop up shop and donate a bag of dry kitten food or kitten canned food (chicken variety preferred).
