Molded biofoam is a single-use foam piece (packaging) that acts as cloth panel that can be sewn together.

The Unstable Design Lab is a space where combination projects are pursued, reflecting an interest in designing and making textiles (some with integrated circuitry), community building, and advocating for the arts within engineering practice. The Lab creates open-source tools and programs that support collaboration across arts and engineering. These tools and programs are used to make interactive objects that help people experience the everyday in new ways. The Unstable Design Lab is directed by Laura Devendorf.
