Are you interested in expanding your creative practice through material exploration and collaboration? Join us for a virtual information session to learn about the 2025 Virginia A. Groot Material Exploration Residency, a unique opportunity hosted by the Center for Craft.
This 8-week residency is at the Center for Craft’s Ideation Lab in downtown Asheville, North Carolina, and connects our four residents with makers and resources in Western North Carolina. Residents will partner with a local craft organization to explore new materials and develop reciprocal relationships, networks, and creative collaborations. During the info session, you will receive guidance on the application process, gain insights into the residency’s goals, and have the chance to ask our team questions directly.
