Join us for the next Materials Talk, a program series exploring how materials expand our understanding of craft. On Tuesday, October 1, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, we will be joined by the Center for Craft’s Materials Collection contributors, Craftwork and Fun Stuff Design, both multidisciplinary art and design studios.

Tune in for a discussion with creative technologist, designer, and artists Nicole Yi Messier and Victoria Manganiello of Craftwork, and designer and artists Julian Goldman and Dierdre Shea of Fun Stuff Design as they discuss the new interactive installation of over 100 common, innovative, and sustainability-minded craft materials that make up the Collection. From metamaterials like e-textiles to innovative sustainable materials like seaweed paper, the possibilities these materials offer to artists, designers, and craft are endless.
