2020
Upon enrollment, artists receive a passport booklet to keep track of their fiber accomplishments with each rare breed. As they complete projects, makers discover many unique wools. One year into our vibrant 3-year project, Covid-19 shut down our in-person educational workshops. We were able to pivot quickly to social media videos and online classrooms. A recent survey of artists identified a widespread need for detailed, professional fiber profiles. The profiles will inform crafters on which breed's wool best fits their creative vision--from next-to-skin softness, to durable rug wool.
