Organization Background

Jack Devereux is a violin maker whose instruments are used by musicians across North America and Europe. Drawing from his years in New York working with classical musicians of the highest caliber, and the landscape, music and cultural identity of his native western North Carolina, Jack builds instruments that are simultaneously rooted in centuries of tradition, and deeply personal and exploratory.
