During her Windgate Museum Internship at the Asheville Art Museum, Sarah Kelly will aid the museum's curatorial staff in accomplishing critical tasks associated with new acquisitions, collections management, and curatorial work. Duties include curating an in-gallery exhibition focusing on the museum's craft collection that aligns with a glass-focused gallery or a more broadly focused gallery, and researching and implementing at least one public program for adults and one docent-training.

Gallery Hours: Closed — Reopening Fall 2019
The Center for Craft is providing emergency relief in response to Hurricane Helene, directing critical resources to the artists of Western North Carolina. Donate now to join us in this effort, or if you are an artist who was affected, apply here, over the phone, or in person from 10 am to 2 pm on Wednesdays.
The Center for Craft galleries are now open on a modified schedule Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm until November 1. Cowork at Center for Craft is open regular hours for registered Coworkers and 10 am - 4 pm for guests or day passes, offering reliable wifi, access to coffee, and community—free to makers in the region who were impacted.
